  • Fit the complete image within 1600 pixels wide × 1200 pixels high, including portrait images.
  • Save as a high-quality JPEG.
  • Use the sRGB colour space.

Before resizing

Finish the image in your preferred software and save it as a TIFF, PSD or JPEG. Start from a copy. The steps differ for landscape and portrait orientations.

  2. Choose Image → Mode → Convert Colour Profile and select sRGB Profile.
  3. Choose Image → Resize → Image Size. Under Pixel Dimensions, set Width to 1600. Keep Constrain Proportions ticked.
  4. If the resulting height is more than 1200 pixels, close without saving and follow the portrait method instead.
  5. Choose File → Save As, select or create a folder and choose JPEG as the file type.
  6. Give the file a meaningful name and select Save.
