The Season
A varied programme
Each week there is something new; the season balances talks, practical development, competition nights and club activities.
Speakers
- Visiting photographers with different specialisms and approaches.
- Fresh perspectives on subjects, techniques, and seeing pictures differently.
- Some speaker evenings carry a £5 visitor charge.
Club development nights
- Practicals and member-focused evenings.
- Time to discuss images, process and presentation.
- Support that is useful whether you shoot digital, print or both.
Competition evenings
- Internal print and PDI competitions across the season.
- Scores contributes to annual awards for those who take part.
- Entry is welcome, but never compulsory.
Activities
- At least a couple of times a year we hold purely social evenings.
- There's an active WhatsApp group for sharing ideas and news.
- Members are encouraged to get involved, from tea crew to speaking.
Planning a visit
Simple guidance before you come along.
Visitors are always welcome. There's no pressure to join, but we're confident you will. For one off attendance of Speaker evenings there may be a small £5 charge. Check the programme and contact us if you'd like to come along.
The club recommends that visitors make contact before travelling, both to avoid any
last-minute programme changes and to make sure there is capacity.
